Considering I'm in a slight position of power with an army of interns at my disposal, sending both of my interns on a massive coffee bean run seemed almost fitting. Especially since the offer was a Red Velvet Hot Cocoa.
Being the crafty interns they are, they were able to beg and plead their way into over-ordering a ton of tasty delights, even though the fine print stated 1 per person. I consider this good training for the hard assistant road ahead of them...
After all that's how I convinced Tiffany & Co to open an hour early for me during the holiday's in New York. Or Prada to ship me their entire collection of knee high brown leather boots.
Needless to say the Red Velvet Hot Cocoa was more than satisfactory. A little too sweet for my tastes, but hit the flavors of the red velvet spot on.
I know I'm much more excited to go back and try their Gingerbread Cookie Latte!
"Savor the sweet cinnamon and nutmeg flavors of gingerbread cookies - and a hint of espresso."
Plus my $1 actually went to a good cause, The Help Group.
"Founded in 1975, The Help Group is the largest, most innovative and comprehensive nonprofit of its kind in the United States serving children with special needs related to autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, mental retardation, abuse and emotional problems."
