The Gourmet Music Carnival is equal parts delicious food, great music and serious shopping. The first event will take place on the shady, picnic-perfect grasses of the L.A. State Historic Park, on Sunday, August 21. Nine Great Los Angeles bands including The Hangmen, Francisco the Man, Number 2, The Country, Letting Up Despite Great Faults, Walking Sleep, Sean and Zander, Mad Planet, the Broken Numbers Band and DJ David Anthony will be performing. The Gourmet Music Carnival will feature 25-30 L.A. food trucks. There will also be up to 200 vendors offering chic vintage items, antiques, accessories, and new designer fashion.
