“HEY, MORGAN!” at The Black Dahlia Theatre
Runs through Feb 4th
I'm not one to normally post theater runs on the weekend docket, but this one in particular I feel compelled to share. I feel like most of you heard (I Gave My Heart To) CAA when it made the rounds but then probably forgot all about it like me. Well I've now heard from a few people that this is a hilarious, not to be missed show that just had their run extended a second time. So now's your chance to go see it... (does anyone want to go with me?) Logline: The show is the very funny and very relatable story of the life of Morgan Farkas, a typical Brentwood girl, from the age of 13 to 32. “Hey, Morgan!” was directed by Matt Shakman, Artistic Director of the theatre and the director/producer of FX’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” He has also directed episodes of “Mad Men,” “House,” “Weeds,” “Hung,” etc. The play was co-written by rising screenwriter Matt Fogel, who was featured on The Black List for his script THE TUTOR and is currently rewriting BOB THE MUSICAL for Disney. Tickets are $20-$25 The Black Dahlia Theatre 5453 West Pico Blvd. www.heymorgan.com
